Could not synchronize playlists

Was getting this message in yellow bar constantly in older versions 8.5.133 "could not synchronize playlists, retrying".  Then began getting them on my work computer also.  Constantly there.  Making spotify social completely shut down, the "played" feed my friends are playing isn't updating, and all my "favorites" people have disappeared.  HELP!!  (Premium payer for 2+ years)  Misty <snip>@aol.com

There seem to be some server issues which are causing all sorts of strangeness including missing feeds, facebook links etc. Give it a day and hopefully everything will be working again.
