Deleting Local Files from Spotify

I was wondering how you could delete local files from spotify. All my files from iTunes have been added to the 'Local Files' area without me even wanting them there. However, I can't delete them, nothing seems to work. I tried pressing delete, moving them to the bin and it doesn't give me an option to delete it on spotify.

Is there any way to get rid of these files from spotify?

p.s. I've deleted the files from iTunes and they still appear in Local Files

To remove the local files from the Spotify app, just head to your Spotify Settings > Local Files, and switch the slider on the folders where the songs are located.
