Desktop App Won't Work?

I apologize if this this question has alreayd been answered, but I can't seem to get the desktop app on Windows to run for me. I've had it loading for over five hours now and I can't get passed the loading screen. I've tried all the troubleshooting techniques to the best of my abilities and it still won't function. The thing is, I've used the app for over four months now and I've never had a problem. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I had the same problem and I solved it re-installing the previous spotify version, but i guess there is still some problem with the new version that should be fixed.
