[Desktop][Other] Offline Mode greyed out - Destop App (MS Windows)

[Desktop][Other] Offline Mode greyed out - Destop App (MS Windows)

I am currently running 1.1.66.580 (but this problem has consistently occurred over the last 6 months and I have just reached end of line with it).

I launch Spotify and it will open, but to completely a black screen.  No playback tools or any music content display.  If I use the keyboard tools and hit play - it will, but ONLY the last playlist that was used.  Yes I have already re-installed it.  To no avail.  No its not been past 30 days, this is a next day event.

What is the point of offline mode if you cannot access the locally downloaded content

Hey there!

Good to see that you have already tried re installing, you can try a clean install too that is given here. Another thing is the offline mode is a setting which is only in the mobile App and not exactly present in the Desktop version. You can try a clean install and afterwards when you are done saving your library offline again. Try turning off the internet and see, it should work. If it does not then let us know!

Throw a like my way or choose this as a solution if I helped!

Hi folks,

Thank you for posting on the Community!

@LJBlondie The clear reinstall steps shared by @Amay are a great place to start. However, I want to point out that the Offline Mode is available on the desktop app.

If the issue persists, please take a look at this thread which covers the same issue you're presenting.
