Desktop app consumes too much memory

Desktop app consumes too much memory

The computer application consumes too much RAM. The problem occurs after visiting several artist sites or playlists. The application sometimes clogs to the point that the progress bar of the song does not move and stutter when mixing between songs. The problem occurs both in the start option with hardware acceleration support and without. It only helps to completely disable (kill) the application.

Did u find a fix?

No, still the same problem. The application should be light the same as the one for phones, I do not know why it takes so much memory.

And if it must be so hungry for RAM, let her cleanse herself memory from time to time without having to kill it.  (sorry for my english :))

I'm having the same issues, except that I see 3GB RAM used by spotify and I only listen to my local files 😞

Is there a way to get official response to this one? I've just installed the app on my desktop PC and can't really use it
