Error Code 57

Upon launching spotifysetup.exe, the installer works for about 3 seconds before giving a popup saying that it can't downlaod Spotify, and to click OK to download in browser. Then gives error code 57

I've tried restarting, I've tried safe-mode, I've tried deleteing the folder in roaming. Nothing works.  I'm on Windows 7.

Hope you are okay, sorry to here you are having issues downloading Spotify.

I can try and help you today.

First of all, please make sure you are downloading Spotify from the following site: (http://spotify.com/download)

Also, try running the installer as Administrator.

If none of the above works, please try temporarily disabling your anti-virus software, this could be blocking it.

Down in the comments (scroll a bit) is a method how to get rid of the issue. Follow the sequence as described.

Let me know how this goes; if this persists I would try CCleaner as well.

I've tried both those things. Trying it in Administator mode makes it tell me to try agin on a non-admin account. DIsabling Avast did nothing.
