Friend Activity Not Updating

My Question or Issue

Normally when I click on a different playlist for Spotify my friend's activity will update (along with normally if they are active it will update the song they are playing). Unfortunately, today, it started it would not update my friends activity.

I have uninstalled spotify and reinstalled, logged in and logged out, and updated my OS. All did nothing to fix the issue.

I would suggest you unfollow your friend and then follow them back again after restarting the app. It worked for me, maybe it will work for you.

Another thing could be that your friends might not be listening or sharing their activity. In that case, the app still shows their most recent public activity for some time then refreshes. Let us know if you encounter anything else. Happy to help!
