My History tab says Empty but I have been playing songs.  Is there something wrong?

That's odd. Can you give us some more info about this issue? Let us know:

 

  • Does this happen when you reproduce any of your playlists?
  • Can you let us know if this started happening after a specific update or event? 
  • Can you let us know what device/operating system and Spotify version you're currently using?
We'll see what we can suggest 🙂

I'm having a similar problem. After opening Spotify and going straight to History, it's empty. The History list comes back when playing a new song but not when resuming a saved song. It's been happening on build 1.0.50.41368.gbd68dbef and the last build on macOS and Windows 10.

That's the exact same issue I'm having.
