I got the "Normal" PC Desktop app version back!

I got the "Normal" PC Desktop app version back!

About 3 weeks ago, Spotify switched this 6+ year Premium Family customer to that feature-deprived, useless, piece of junk version of the PC Desktop app.

 

BUT NOW I HAVE THE OLD VERSION BACK!

 

I went to HELP / ABOUT SPOTIFY and there was a prompt to download a new version of Spotify.  It took about 45 minutes to download - all the saved tracks and likes.  Be patient!  Then it restarted... and I have my old view back.  I can see my playlist follower count.  I can add custom graphics to playlists, I can see Friend Activity, I can adjust the left sidebar.  I can copy embed codes.  And on and on and on...

 

Other people are posting today about getting their old view back.

 

Thanks, Spotify, but you never should have switched me in the first place. 

 

I don't pay a subscription fee to test out some buggy, de-tuned 'web version'.

 

I don't like being LIED TO by your lousy "customer service" reps in the Philippines.

 

A month ago, I was a happy customer of Spotify.  Today, I don't know when you're going to pull some stunt again. 

 

Are you going to apologize, Spotify?
