Loop ads

Spotify is not allowing me to play any songs, it simply skips the song and plays non stop ads and commcericals one after another. Any ideas on how to fix this?

3 years later, I'm experiencing the infinite ad-loop.  

Web player, desktop player.   I refuse to use my phone to fix a bug in the other two Spotify applications. 

In trying to watch a podcast, regardless of browser(for web player), desktop player, ads loop infinitely. 30 minutes of constant advertisements, after which the feed pauses. Hitting "play" again restarts the loop. 

Spotify is terrible.

Could you restart the device and then log out and log back in again? If the issue persists, it's a good idea to give these steps a go and run a clean reinstall. This one is more thorough than the usual one.

Does the issue occur when you try with another account? That way we can check if it's an account-related issue.

How does one re-install the web-player, where this happens?

Thank you for your reply in this thread.

There's not possible to reinstall the web player at the moment.

You can try to clear your cookies and cache. You can also try to use the web player in a incognito/private window.
