My Question or Issue

How can I listen to two devices at the same time. I want to listen to Spotify at work, but my wife may want to listen to Spotify on the Echo at home at the same time.

Hi @twebb101,

Thank you for your reply.

Currently, the Alexa app allows you to link and use only one Spotify account at a time. In this case, whoever is going to play music on the Echo needs to make sure their account is the one linked to the Alexa app.

If you prefer not to do this, an alternative to switching accounts is using the Echo via Connect or Bluetooth.

Hi @twebb101,

Welcome to the Community and thank you for reaching out.

At the moment, it's not possible to share one account and use it on two or more devices at the same time. This is because our Terms and Conditions indicate that all accounts are for personal use.

With this in mind, it would be necessary that your wife gets her own personal account. Currently, we have a subscription for two people that live in the same household and it's called Premium Duo, in this article you can find all the info about it.

Hope this helps! Let us know if you have any questions.

We currently have the Duo subscription; so do we need to have the Echo
devices use her account?
