For the past few weeks, Spotify has not been connecting on my desktop. The internet is working fine, but it keeps giving an error code of 4. I have uninstalled, redownloaded and checked firewall settings. Spotify is allowed by my firewall.
I'm paying each month for a service I can't use. Please advise on how to fix.

The troubleshooting steps you've taken so far are very good. Regarding the reinstall, can you make sure to follow all the steps in this guide to run a clean reinstall? This is more thorough than a regular one and can be helpful to get rid of any corrupted files that might be causing trouble. We also suggest downloading the app again from the Microsoft Store.
If that doesn't do the trick, try removing any entries containing Spotify from your hosts file by following these steps.
