Popping/Static Sound When Streaming to Receiver Over WiFi

I have the premium plan and normally stream Spotify to my Denon AVR-S710W receiver over my WiFi through my iPhone. Never had any issues before, but recently every song is now playing with static and pops in it (I’ve tried playing from my Wife’s iPhone and it does the same thing). The only thing I can think of is I recently upgraded my WiFi router to a TP-Link WiFi 6 AX3000, but since this is an upgrade over my previous router, I can’t see how that could be causing this distortion. Any ideas?

Since this is happening when streaming from two different phones, it may be indeed related to the WiFi network. Could you try restarting your router by unplugging it from power for a few seconds and plugging it back in?

If possible, could you connect your receiver to your router using a cable to see if that makes any difference?

We'd also like to know how it works when connected via Bluetooth to your phone.
