Search function only within playlists has disappeared

Now this has been a thing for at least months and I'm not sure how long it's been the case or if it is even intended.

I am on Windows, currently listening to my playlists at work. It used to be the case that you could click a little searching symbol within the playlist to search for a specific song, which made it really easy to build a queue of songs you fancied in the moment.

This little search field disappeared. It's been gone for a good while and unless it was causing technical issues, I fail to fathom why anyone would do away with it.

Across several devices I've noticed it being gone (however searching within playlists is still possible). Help LOL

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome!

Could you test if the search field would appear if you press CTRL + F on your keyboard? I also recommend making sure you're running the newest Spotify version.
