Every time I have installed Spotify on my computer, it doesn't work. It skips songs, plays a whole 10 seconds, then switches to another song or it will just not play any sound but show the song like it is playing. I have done everything that has been suggested to fix the problem with no luck. I am reminded every time I try to reinstall as to why I deleted it in the first place. (Frustrated and tired of wasting my time)
Welcome to the Spotify Community.
We're sorry to hear you feel this way. Let's try a deeper reinstallation to get this fixed. Just follow these steps:
C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Local\Spotify\Storage
C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Local\Spotify\Users\<random numbers-user>\
There is a folder for each profile that has been logged into Spotify on that computer account.
I completely agree. We paid for Spotify-Premium and can never get the app to work via our PC or our Roku which is why we bought the Roku in the first place. Spotify is a great idea but in practice it is impossible to use because it will never function. It is extremely frustrating. I tried following these instructions and could not get Spotify to work even then.
It REALLY sucks. I uninstalled from my iPhone after getting hair-pulling-cut-my-veins frustated. Goodbye! Product manager should be tarred and featherd!
100% agree on Spotify sucks because if they let you play free music on internet why not on mobile.
I agree, Im telling all of my friends about the terrible **bleep**ty quality, can't even play on Web Player without clearing cache every 10 minutes, automatically disconnects you and takes forever to get it to work properly. You guys are going to lose A LOT of customers if you dont fix this **bleep** long term. SUPER ANNOYING
This solution is way overcomplicated, can't you just implement a system that doesnt suck or crash or not work every time someone tries to use it? Seriously it's ridiculous, Switching over to Apple music.
Spotify is **bleep**ing junk. As you say.. you , me and who knows how many hundreds of thousands of people are not getting the service they/we pay for. **bleep**ing fix it Spotify! Assholes!
