Spotify crashes when adding/removing tracks from playlist

Solved!

Spotify crashes when adding/removing tracks from playlist

So I'm listening to a Radio, a song comes up that I want to add to a playlist, I click on teh album art and select add to playlist select the playlist then BAM music stops, dissapears. I'm rocking a W7 with plenty of memory (8core) NO reason for it to crash.

Also went to play Que to add the song Still crashes

If you can help it would be appreciated cause I'm getting angry.

Me too!!! Anyone found a solution yet? Spotify do you know this issue is occuring?

I tried to create a log, but the console crashes when spotify crashes.

I am trying to get a screenshot of the console, but it goes away when my Spotify crashes.

Having the same issue for a couple days now. I grab a couple songs, drag them to my folder, and then what ever was playing stops, then I have to right click to close Spotify because you can't click on anything. It is rather annoying.

I would also like to send a crash log but as others have reported, I can't. I'm using XP pro and nothing shows up on the task manager after a crash

The simplest solution was mentioned earlier. Roll back to a previous stable version till this bug gets sorted out. Do they not do proper beta testing before updating a new version ? If they DID test on all different kinds of machines, then common sense tells me that they should have found this bug long before the latest version was released.

How do you do a rollback? I never did an update. This just started yesterday for me, and I didn't click to update anything, which I usually don't most times because then crap like this happens. Great job Spotify! It looks like people have been having issuses for months, and it looks like no one want to fix it.

I picture them all sitting there looking at one another saying "it wasn't me"!

At this point I am thoroughly disgusted, frustrated, and annoyed. Doesn't Google have something like Spotify?

Can anyone tell if Spotify is actually even aware of this bug?

Back on page 25 it appears a moderator has taken note of this issue:

So has anyone fixed this crashing issue it just started this morning.

I can't stand it might go back to the free version this is killing me

On Top of that my application feed is dead as well.

I'm having this issue as well!! They told me to uninstall and reinstall, which did not resolve the issue...

I did the full uninstall reboot / install reboot.

No Luck i also did a system restore to yesterday no luck

Waste of time uninstalling & re-installing, the issue is with their software, not our hardware

Same here, started happening to me yesterday. When I 1st open spotify everything is fine, but after playing some songs if I delete something from my play list, spotify crashes. When I reopen the program everything works fine and I can delete what ever I want. Its very annoying.

It's simply amazing that Spotify can't stop "tripping" over themselves. Just when I thought you had finally stopped f***ing things up, I upgraded back to the full account. It may finally be time to jump off this sinking ship!

I also have this problem. I have for a few days.

here's their thread on this issue:

http://community.spotify.com/t5/Help-Desktop-Linux-Mac-and/Spotify-crashes-when-adding-removing-trac...

They want peoples' crash logs.  I've followed the instructions and am unable to pull the crash log...

If folk haven't done it already, go to the front page of the thread and click "me too". Can't hurt, and it's been stuck on 28 for the last day or so.
