Hi there

Sorry to hear that you're having such an experience with the app.

We'd recommend running a clean reinstall of the app. Please follow the steps from this Spotify Guide exactly, as this will assure that all app data is cleared completely, before reinstalling. Corrupted app data can sometimes cause issues like this.

If that doesn't make a difference, let us know in the app crashes straight after startup or while you're listening to music.

Keep us posted on how you get on with this.

Cheers.

I already did the clean reinstall of the app using 3rd party software
and or using the remove program feature from windows itself but
Spotify keeps crashing when i log in

Hey there @victorinoaditya,

Thanks for your reply.

We suggest that you head over to the app settings > toggle on Show Local Files > toggle off all the sources that appear there > toggle off Show Local Files. Afterwards, make sure to restart the app.

If that doesn't change anything, you can turn off the Hardware Acceleration in the app settings. Does that help?

Let us know how it goes.

Hi

I will hijack this thread as I have the same problem and have had fรฅr about a month.
Sometimes I can use Spotify Desktop app for about 10-30 minutes before it crashes and other times it crashes as I start the app and press play.

I've done all your suggestions but non of it work.

I have reinstalled Spotify, Audio Drivers and GPU Drivers and the only thing left for me to do is reinstalling Windows and I will NOT do that drastic measure.

Here is what Windows Event Viewer shows when the app crashes for me:

First this error:
