Staying in Repeat Track mode after Next Track?

Is there a way to keep Spotify on Repeat Track mode even after I use my media hotkeys to go to next song?

What I'd like to do is to put my songs library on shuffle play but keep shuffling to the next song (by using the media hotkeys while I'm working in another application) until I find one song I like to loop at that particular time, then repeat that one track indefinitely until I get tired of it and shuffle for the next one I want to loop. Currently Spotify disables the Repeat Track mode once I go to the next track, so each time I find a song I want to repeat for the next 30 mintues I have to open Spotify and put on Repeat Track mode.

Or is there a better and more obvious way to achieve what I'm trying to do?

There is not way to do that within the app. But you can always use the backwards mediaply button to get to that song and still have the loop option enabled. As far as I know no media player supports what you are requesting.

However, if you would like, you can submit it in Idea Submissions board or support it if this idea has been already submitted.
