My Question or Issue

There's been a new UI update on Spotify desktop (Windows 10) and I can no longer:

  • Sort or Filter Playlists or Liked Songs
  • Edit Playlist Cover
  • Receive a warning if I add a song that is already on a playlist
  • View the date a song was added to a playlist

Is there a way of reverting the update?

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

 

Spotify is often testing and launching improvements and new features. This means you might see something different on the app, or get different features to try only temporarily.

 

It'd be great for you to check this Spotify Answer for more info about test features.

The last version before that was 1.1.31.703.g256add22.

 

You can try and find a download for it or download the Spotify app from the Windows 10 store linked here for now until it's fixed.

I've found a download for 1.1.31.703.g256add22 but it's the exact same UI as the current version. Any other versions beforehand automatically update to the current version.
