My Question or Issue

Hi, I am having issues with the desktop app loading properly. I have been able to sign in but after signing in through the browser, the app gets stuck on a black screen. I have tried a soft restart/reinstall and a clean install.  I even tried a computer restart and still does not work. I would rather not use the browser application. When it does load (after 20 mins) it does not want to play music and when i try to restart the program (ending task through task manager) it says "Spotify Application Not Working"

Hi Amayy, I noted in my post that this is an issue on my Windows 11 device; however the other issue said that the issue was resolved on Windows and not on MacOS. Not sure if i should still report my issue or not to that thread

Thanks for the reply @seann28. You can go ahead and reply with your device details in the same issue thread.

Reply with the Spotify app version there along with your device info like the model and OS. There are a few steps mentioned in the thread like safe mode and disabling VPN. You can try them as well and include the results in the response.

Hey @seann28!

Along with following what @Amayy recommended, I'd recommend trying to clear your Hosts File.

Please follow these instructions, and let us know how it goes!
