constant installing of the desktop application (missing song titles)

this seems to be related to this subject somehow:

every ''x'' number of days (sometimes weeks), the DT app will pop up an ""installation"" dialog in the middle of the screen.  WHY?  see attached image.  when this transaction registers in the background IF I have spotify open at the time, songs in every playlist will not appear.  those line items will simply be blank.  that's how I know that this installation issue has begun once again.  or at least, has initiated itself.  you guys got an answer to this one?  thanks.
