I have unistalled and reinstalled. used the web player. reset my password. still pausing.

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community.


Playback could stop on Spotify for multiple reasons - including connection issues, another device controlling yours via Spotify Connect, etc. Since the pausing is happening at random, it could be that someone else who has access to a device on which you're logged in might be pausing your music. This can happen if you're logged in your household smart speaker or TV and a family member is pausing your music.

First off, we'd suggest that you Logging out everywhere and logging back in only on your phone only for a couple of days to see if this keeps happening.

It's also a good idea to go to your Account page and tap on ''Apps'' in the menu on the left side. There you can see all third party apps that are connected to your account and we'd recommend that you "Remove Access" for the apps that you don't recognize.

If you still experience this, it might be caused by an issue with your device's cache. We'd recommend taking a look at this page to see how to clear your cache.
