'Starting yesterday, my Spotify randomly crashed about half way through a song. I could click on other songs, but nothing would play. I then tried exiting the program and when I went to open it again I got the message that said " the Spotify application is not responding" then after multiple tries to re-open the program it finally opened just to have the same thing happen half way through the next song I played. This problem started early yesterday and I have already tried fixing the problem by uninstalling and reinstalling the program twice to no avail.
-Thanks so much

Have you tried a clean reinstall?
First uninstall Spotify and then delete this folder:
After that reinstall Spotify
If you can't find the folder, try this:
Uninstall Spotify: Start > Control Panel > Programs / Uninstall a Program > Spotify
Find your AppData folder and delete all Spotify data.
Start, run, type: %appdata% and hit enter
You probably see 4 folders; enter each and see if they contain a folder called Spotify. Delete the entire Spotify folder.
Restart your computer at this point.
Reinstall Spotify (download)
There are several app cleaner apps you can try, if you want try downloading this free app cleaner. It's super easy.
When you open up the app, search for Spotify and it will automatically find and delete all files on your computer related to Spotify.
I use it all the time and it's a really great tool. If you ever decide to uninstall an app, the best way is to use this tool.
After that, download and reinstall Spotify.
Try ctrl+alt+del --> Task Manager--> Processes --> spotify.exe --> End Process. After that, you can run spotify again. I get rid of this problem by this.
Guys all I did was do Ctrl + Alt + Delete, closed my spotify.exe that was running under processes. Then you double click your spotify.exe and its up and running. EZ. 🙂
