A friend started on premium about a month ago, using hte $.99 for 3 months deal - so he stil has 2 months left on that. Can I get him a 3-month online gift card if he already has Premium? Will it just add time to his subscription once his $.99 deal is up?

I've just purchased a gift card and it is not working. Can someone from Spotify contact me and tell me what I'm doing wrong. The code is vaild as I confirm this from the store that I brought it from.

Hi jmarshall, any codes applied to their account should add onto whatever they've currently purchased, and not override it. To be safe I wouldn't apply the gift card until they've started their third month, but that's mostly just because I'm paranoid like that. Short answer, yes, it should work like you expect. gdcoxy, I've been running into a lot of people having a similar issue as to what you're describing. What's the specific message you get when Spotify rejects the code? Where are you trying to enter it? Any an all relevant info would be great. Thanks!

I've also got a gift card that isn't working.  The error message is 'Unfortunately this Premium code does not seem to be valid.  Try again or contact customer service.'  I know the gift card hasn't been used as I scratched the panel off myself, so why isn't it working?  I've tried entering the code with and without spaces.  Can someone please let me know how to contact customer service so I can find a solution?  Thanks.

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

If you still have not gotten a reply:

Did you get a confirmation email from the contact form? It should be similar to "Spotify Support Case #XXXXXXX". If so, reply back to that email and tell them you still need help.

 

If you got an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it saying you still need help, even if it's from a no-reply address.

 

If you never got an email, look in your spam folder to see if there is an email in there. Make sure you are checking the email account you used to sign up to Spotify. You can check the email on your account here.
