[All Platforms] Explicit Filter

Add a button that controls whether Explicit songs are played or not.  When it is off and you're listening to an album or playlist, the explicit songs are skipped. That way you can still listen to your favorite album or playlist when more impressionable members of the family (kids / parents) are around.

Would like to know this too. This was something I was going to ask but worried about making it all sound like hard work and the developers kick it back out to the long grass again. Auto substitution of explicit for clean and vice versa that is.

I'm unsubscribing too - and I won't be back to Spotify anytime ever. Off to Apple where they have this BASIC and ESSENTIAL functionality. Last one out, turn off the lights will you? Bye.

Really want a solution for this.  Need some way to be sure only radio edit songs are playing when children around.

Friendly clean non explicit versions to play at work, in public or around kids and the elderly.

I advocate that Spotify can do everything Pandora can do and more, except this.  This is where people have a valid reason to stick with Pandora.

 un-subscribing from this thread.  It is not worth spending any more time on Spotify, it is apparent they don't care ( the age of this thread is a clear indication)

people keep bringing up kids or public places, those are all valid.  However, I just never want to listen to songs about rape or details about **bleep**, or racial slander in my music... never.   The content of some of the songs is so offensive, I am amazed tha spotify will not give users an option to NOT listen to it.

Regardless, when there are so many other good options out there (google, pandora, apple, amazon, ... ) there is no reasion to continue trying to convice a company to do something when they just don't care.

Not to be a **bleep** or anything, but I listen to pandora radio and they have a global button to filter out explicit content. Plays all the same songs but censored.
