[All Platforms] Sleep Timer

I am a new user to Spotify from NZ and the first thing I miss having moved from iphone's built in music player is the sleep timer. I understand this feature stopped working in one of the recent versions of spotify App. If it is a compatibility issue partly related to iOS 5, may I suggest that you build a sleep timer into the App itself? 

Also, as suggest by one other Spotify user, Nyx, it would be even better if you could include an alarm featuer so we can all wake up to our favourite playlists within Spotify.

Thanks again for all the great work you guys are doing and we really hope you would consider this new idea.

Update: The issue with sleep timer seems to be working in iOS 8.

Disappointing to see a 2 y.o. feature standard on clock radio's 30 years ago disregarded...

Let me me put it this way instead.  I now have 5 streaming music apps on my iPad.  4 of those have working sleep timers.  Guess which one I'm going to stop using?  SPOTIFY! Bye bye!

OK, so you already lauched the discover/browse/whatever features, can you PLEASE get back to this idea now?

I have just started with Spotify and find the App amazing - I have subscibed to premium. I fully support the idea of a sleep timer - this is where Pandora has the edge. I also use this to assist my sleeping pattern and find it annoying when the music actually wakes me late at night. Please spotify do this and all will be perfect.

Alright, two years should have been long enough. I understand that other implimentations took priority but seriously how hard is it to code an alarm? Your customers are asking for a simple feature, please deliver. We're paying you for a reason.

100% agree! Would love an alarm clock function to wake up to a Spotify playlist.. Challenge accepted Spotify?!

This would be great!! The Timer of iphone don't work with spotify. The best thing would be developed in the spotify app !! I tested napster, there working the iphone sleep Timer , but i love spotify and i think its now the time to set the Focus on this Feature after a Long time, where important other things.
