[All Platforms] Sleep Timer

I am a new user to Spotify from NZ and the first thing I miss having moved from iphone's built in music player is the sleep timer. I understand this feature stopped working in one of the recent versions of spotify App. If it is a compatibility issue partly related to iOS 5, may I suggest that you build a sleep timer into the App itself? 

Also, as suggest by one other Spotify user, Nyx, it would be even better if you could include an alarm featuer so we can all wake up to our favourite playlists within Spotify.

Thanks again for all the great work you guys are doing and we really hope you would consider this new idea.

Update: The issue with sleep timer seems to be working in iOS 8.

Is this feature really too much to ask since we haven't had a response from the Spotify team. All I want is to fall asleep to my favourite songs on Spotify. As a premium customer, having this weakness in the app is really disappointing

Just signed up to add my comment, I'd love a sleep timer in the app on Android. For me, it's the only function I miss from other music players.

One of the best ways for me to get peaceful sleep is with music. I love to play it but once I fall asleep I don't want it to continue to play until I wake up! I used many different music apps before spotify and have found spotify to be the best but it would be soooo much better if there was a sleep timer/alarm that we could use to set the music to play 15, 20, 25, 30 minutes and so on.

An alarm and sleep timer feature within the spotify app would be awesome! I am not a morning person but waking up to one of my spotify playlists would make it so much easier. I love the app already, but this would make it even better. Please consider!

I would liek to have this on the PC version. I have a multimedia PC earlier running with WinAmp and now with Spotify. I wrote my own application to fade out and fade in WinAmp as my Timer. But this is hareder with Spotify, since I dont get volume information. So currently I only use START and STOP commands to do the job...
