[All Platforms] Sleep Timer

I am a new user to Spotify from NZ and the first thing I miss having moved from iphone's built in music player is the sleep timer. I understand this feature stopped working in one of the recent versions of spotify App. If it is a compatibility issue partly related to iOS 5, may I suggest that you build a sleep timer into the App itself? 

Also, as suggest by one other Spotify user, Nyx, it would be even better if you could include an alarm featuer so we can all wake up to our favourite playlists within Spotify.

Update: The issue with sleep timer seems to be working in iOS 8.

I'm disapointed that you don't priorise that missing basic feature what has of course to be implemented in a player.  a **bleep**load of updates you force as to download and install and everytime something changes, but you miss the basics (lo cpu - fail, sleep timer - 'sorry, we ignore that """idea""") common, thats not a crazy idea, thats just a must for a big player like spotify wants to be.

however, I paid quite some time but i'm irritated by the ugly update disease without changes. over and out, trying something different.

There is no sleep timer on spotify,  I use I heart radio and they have this feature, I used to have an iphone and switchEd to samsung, so why the **bleep** not have this on spotify, I'm even paying premium subscription, cause as many others here, I wake up and go to bed with music... hello!!!! Get with the program!!!! Just sayin!

So this was suggested in 2012 and it's 2016 and apparently it's something that can be done with an iphone but not Android... soooooo I just got a new update and crossed my fingers that the sleep mode was added but apparently I was mistaken!!! COMMON!!! if it can be done with iTunes, and Iheart radio app, I'm 110%sure it can be done w.Spotify...

This seems like such a simple feature to add and useful. Plus it would save you money to not have music playing all night that you have to pay royalties for.

can't understand why a sleep timer for iOS doesn't exist ? Seems an obvious and much needed function. It drives me to other apps when I know I don't want to wake up to my playlist still playing. Come on Spotify !

of course as one poster above said, imagine the royalties incurred. and it won't drain people's phones. And also provide false 'hits' in terms of most listened to songs. Etc etc. Get it together !;)

All the playlists Spotify have with focus on sleeping are useless without a sleep timer. I can't put on a 5-8 hour long playlist, it's going to ruin my sleep.

Considering Connect (awesome feature) a sleep timer would be such a logical feature and friend. I don't understand how such a simple feature is still missing. (From one developer to another. It ain't that hard to implement. Come on!)

In going with podcasts and videos but still missing basic music player features Spotify is forgetting about the basics and to be honest that's not a good thing for a company.

I'll back up the opinion of many here : JUST FRACKIN DO THIS FEATURE SPOTIFY. ITS SIMPLE, WE WANT AN ALARM CLOCK AND A SLEEP TIMER SO TELL AN INTERN TO DO THAT PLS.

I'M A USER SINCE '09, I THINK I'VE BEEN PATIENT.
