[All Platforms] Sleep Timer

I am a new user to Spotify from NZ and the first thing I miss having moved from iphone's built in music player is the sleep timer. I understand this feature stopped working in one of the recent versions of spotify App. If it is a compatibility issue partly related to iOS 5, may I suggest that you build a sleep timer into the App itself? 

Also, as suggest by one other Spotify user, Nyx, it would be even better if you could include an alarm featuer so we can all wake up to our favourite playlists within Spotify.

Thanks again for all the great work you guys are doing and we really hope you would consider this new idea.

Update: The issue with sleep timer seems to be working in iOS 8.

I really need this. My preferred time for spotify is before sleep, but it makes me headache if it plays the whole night, so I do not use it any more at bedtime. Please give us a sleep timer.

I would definitley use a sleep timer. Currently I have to use 8tracks to get that feature, but I really like my Spotify playlists, so would rather use that if I could!

I chose a Spotify subscription over Pandora, and while I don't regret my decision, I miss Pandora's timer and alarm every day and night.

I just created this account for proposing or up voting this idea , but could you implement it as well as on android in case you adD it? Because I think it would make Spotify a very good aplication for music and would help the people who like to sleep with music

How difficult is it for them to implement a sleep timer??? We Are paying for the subscription are we not? I cancelled my Pandora account for this app. They have a sleep timer,  and it is available on the free version (which i use every night because you don't). To hear spotify say"not now" to this feature makes me second guess giving them my money each month. 

Come on Spotify, what gives?
