[All Platforms] Sleep Timer

I am a new user to Spotify from NZ and the first thing I miss having moved from iphone's built in music player is the sleep timer. I understand this feature stopped working in one of the recent versions of spotify App. If it is a compatibility issue partly related to iOS 5, may I suggest that you build a sleep timer into the App itself? 

Also, as suggest by one other Spotify user, Nyx, it would be even better if you could include an alarm featuer so we can all wake up to our favourite playlists within Spotify.

Update: The issue with sleep timer seems to be working in iOS 8.

I hate that I can use Spotify all day for music. But when it's time for bed I have to switch back to Pandora because they have the sleep feature. I like setting it for an hour and then fall asleep and not have music playing all night. Please bring this feature into the app.

Please include a sleep timer in the app. It's standard in many music and listening apps, it should be in spotify too 🙂 It would make an already great spotify service even better! Kind regards from a premium user of many many years 🙂

Need a Lyrics feature like Musixmatch, Amazon Music and Deezer... And also need a Music Founder feature by Sound around me like SoundHound and Shazam... Need In India....

Imho: unnecessary. If you want a fancy tune for wakeup, then just set it as an alarm tone. 

Or get some app like Tasker to do this.

Same for the sleep timer.

I don't want my spotify app bloated with all those functions, you could also achieve using 3rd Party apps. 

Separation of concerns..: Spotify is still a music player; not a clock.

I've just swapped podcast players from my old faithful to spotify. Would absolutly love it if I didn't have to run two apps at a time whilst listening to my favourite podcasts before bed. Please roll out sleep timer on all devices. Love ed

I’d love this! I always get woken up by a 7hour playlist cause it doesn’t stop when I’ve been listening to a playlist as I fall alseep. This also kills my battery.
