This is not a new idea, but I haven't found any practical reply to it, so I think it needs to be repeated. I completely agree with Rennestein (screen capture below), we need to stop seeing irrelevant suggestions because it is annoying. Why can't it be possible to decide what we first see when we open Spotify on any device? (playlists, recently played, artists we're following, etc), and enjoy better our Spotify experience?
Please Spotify, let us have the home screen as we'd like. :)) Thank you!

Nobody at Spotify gives a **bleep** about what you want. Do what I did and move to Overcast or Pocketcast. I sh%tcanned Spotify for all my podcasts months ago and could not be happier.

Great, y'all went and ruined the UI again.  Every couple of years you have to do this and it's always horrible.  Seriously, I can find your recommendations if I want them, you don't need to flood the home screen with that.

The number of 'up' votes here alone tells you this is what users are asking for. 

Really want to customize the home page interface. On phone or in car, really hate wasting screen real estate on  with list/recommondation/notification categories that I simply don't want.  Is a 'hide' option for a feature category really that hard to create?

User customized Home Screen in Spotify Mobile app and Desktop app.

As any paying user, I would like to see on my Spotify home screen everything that I have liked and am following to. I would appreciate full control of that. And, only when I feel like exploring would I have the possibility to go to a different tab to do so.

I can be a little particular in terms of cleanliness of my apps. For example - I regularly delete message threads in my Messages apps. I will regularly go through my Instagram following and unfollow accounts I’m not interested in. 

I think it would be nice if we had the ability to “X” out recently played artists, songs, and playlists from the Spotify homepage. I say this because the homepage can get extremely convoluted with things I’ve been listening to, podcast suggestions, my top mixes, audiobooks, and episodes. It can be endless and overwhelming. 
Or maybe a way to really clean up the homepage to make it minimal!

I have been bombarded by podcast content I am uninterested in or no longer want to see. Yet I am constantly advertised to listen to show that I have never listened to! please allow a function that would allow me to hide a show or make that i actually dislike it. it is driving me crazy

It’s crazy how ppl voted/leaved their comments for all these years and still the team haven’t figure out how to solve the problem. guess you don’t want to do it anyway lol. the suggested albums feature is terrible, how can you recommended album that I didn’t allow the said artist to play on main? UNBELIEVABLE.

When I open Spotify on desktop I am hit by a barrage of Daily Mixes, Best ofs and Editor Picks. I would like to be able to design my own landing page.

I would like to see a concise, customizable list of recent albums, my playlists.
Followed by new podcast releases from people I am subscribed to.
Followed by audio books.

For suggestions of new content, this should not be the homepage. The homepage should be familiar each time and personalised.

It does not fit into my head why a feature request as fundamental and as popular as this one can be set back as "Not right now". If a request with that many likes is basically ignored, then I really do not see the point of having a feature request forum at all.

What possible bennifit comes from forcing paying customers to look at your**bleep** opinion of what I want to listen to? I pay you to listen to what I want, I have no interest in suggestions or features, just take my money and get the **** out of the way.
