[All Platforms] Customizing Spotify (Skins & Layout)

In such a highly customizeable world, where are the themes for spotify? My google chrome is wood theme and my text messaging app is an 19th century journal. Could spotify match? I think so.

I would love the Idea to change the Theme on Spotify! I really often use ist and it looks same every day... Maybe you can make it possible that a lot of Users can make Themes/skins for Spotify

Yea - thoughts exactly - Diff Skins on interacting on app every day or so gets boring after a whlie. 

Equilizer on side, etc. Remember when WINAMP was popular? They had a pretty good set of skin themes, equlizers, etc 

Got wife acct as well - where the love? no discount? 

Otherwise Spotify KicksA55! Need to see them more intergrated with future cars.

It's unfortunate that this idea isn't in the cards right now.  I was just about to post it here in the idea thread.  I think the grey and green look is really dull and it would be nice to be able to change it.  If you guys could even just change the colors on your end, maybe white and green, I would be happy.  The current look is just so bland and is screaming for a new look.

How about the option to choose between a limited set of Spotify-designed themes?  Even just the option to toggle between light/dark UI would be great.

If you are not allowing Themes, then please improve your UI, It really looks like and old windows player. not cool, zero stylish. Please 🙂

It would be awesome if I could change the look of the app, or at least colors. Watching the app for too long makes me tired of it.

I think, customization is one of the strong points of the Winamp community (especially those more advance).

personally I would just like a "dark" option for the UI. instead of white and gray have a dark background with light text.

You could simply offer users the possiblity to re-design the interface with their custom CSS file. Then, users would create their own skins and your team wouldn't have to mess with creating thousands of themes to satisfy everyone.

Then you need a new design philosophy as that is an incredibly foolish goal. It is impossible to please everyone with a single UI design. Skins, be they company or community created, would help keep more people happy with the looks of the player.

At least the possibility to change background/foreground color for the text should be a minimum requirement.

As people get older they might get issues with seeing small fonts of light-gray text on white-ish background (android app).

I don't know if Spotify only targets a younger audience. It's very annoying that I can't see the playlist text without reading glasses and I have a Galaxy S3 which has fairly big screen. On other apps text color and size can be tweaked. Anyway. Think about it. I might have to cancel my subscription and find other solutions because the android app really sucks in this area.
