[Android] Remove the Shuffle / Play Button

Hi, I tried out your new design, which I have mixed feelings about, but nevermind that. The most annoying thing I come over in the new Spotify (for iPhone by the way) is the dumb, big, overlapping, unnecessary shuffle play button that pops up everywhere. Is this a bug or is this on purpose? Could at least had add an option for it. Also, it doesn't look streamlined at all with the current design. Did it even occur that not everyone wants a shuffle play button?

Please, please, please fix this Spotify!!!!! Can we just have a big play button next to this Shuffle Play, if you insist on providing that (though for the life of me I can't see why).

This is a massive User Experience fail... I search for an album and seemingly the suggested way of playing an entire album is to:

1) Search.

2) click on the album

3) Click the first track

4) Check shuffle is off

5) Pray to the gods of the app that I haven't got anything else left in my "play queue" 

And even then I might still just get the first track.

Much simpler...

1) Search

2) Click on album

3) New Big green button - "Play album"

4) Continue my montlhy subscription happy. 

And, yes I'm premuim and yes I've turned shuffle off. There is a bug - if you have just been listing to an artist / album on shuffle then performing the first steps means you get one track and then back to shuffle of the previous artist. This is totally bewildering behaviour! 

I'd also argue this needs to be simplier on desktop too but at least with a hidden hover over to album artwork you can click a play button.

Replace this button with play. Shouldn't have to press a few things just to play an album.

Agree. I NEVER want to shuffle play. The button is extremely annoying. I will move to Google Play soon if not given the option to simply "Play'

If there a statistics for this check them to see if people use that big shuffle button or not...

I never do, but for some reason I still have to scroll past it every day.

I've been thinking about this Spotify and my theory is that the only reason you'd ignore an obvious UX flaw is that you have to pay more to labels and artists for complete album listens. 

Is that right? Otherwise I truely cannot understand it.

It's a nuisance and way too prominent. If I want to shuffle an album (which I never do as albums are written and produced, in general, to be played in a specific order) I should have the DISCREET OPTION to switch shuffle on, not a monstrously cumbersome,in your face, piece of awful green c&£p that totally distracts from everything else on the screen. Is this app called Spotify or SHUFFLE?

Just subscribed an hour ago, and my first question when opening the App is how do I get rid of that idiotic and intrusive button?  

I've also got 30 days free with Tidal, so I am examining options carefully - this button is a real turn off.

A (Spotify dev) friend of mine couldn't give me a good reason for this button existing for premium users.

It's a UX sin, in my opinion.  

Search?  two clicks away

Shuffle?  in your face

The whole reason I pay use spotify premium is so that I can play ANY song I want in ANY specific order I want. I expressly do not want a prority button that is deliberately designed to stop (or at least constantly get in the way) of me doing this. Considering this post has been live and growing for over a year can anyone at Spotify actually provide justification as to why it was even added to the app? (its not on the web interface which in comparison is an absolute pleasure to use..)
