[Android] Remove the Shuffle / Play Button

Hi, I tried out your new design, which I have mixed feelings about, but nevermind that. The most annoying thing I come over in the new Spotify (for iPhone by the way) is the dumb, big, overlapping, unnecessary shuffle play button that pops up everywhere. Is this a bug or is this on purpose? Could at least had add an option for it. Also, it doesn't look streamlined at all with the current design. Did it even occur that not everyone wants a shuffle play button?

This idea is now almost 8 years old. Maybe it is time to implement it?

They have. I wasn't asking them to remove the shuffle function or button
entirely, just get it the **bleep** out of the way. With the old design, the
button was enormous and intrusive, plastered right on top of everything
else. It was SHUFFLE!!!!!! instead of Shuffle. Now it's much smaller and in
its place, but still right there waiting for you--silently, instead of
yelling "WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO PUSH ME I'M RIGHT HERE!"

BTW, what is shuffle used for? I have never understood the purpose with that button? I mean, why would I want to play songs in a playlist in random order??

You use shuffle because, if you listen to a playlist often, sometimes
random is better than the same old order. Try it some time.

I used to have Apple Music and I recently made the switch to Spotify. I do love the algorithm and how Spotify suggests songs for me, but I do dislike the shuffle/play button because compared to Apple Music where you can click the shuffle button as many times as you want, you can’t do that here and I feel that implementing this would be a good idea especially because you have separate buttons for you to start playing your music and another button to shuffle your playlist more than once. I also do feel that this is a good idea due to the fact that if I want to shuffle a playlist again, I have to go into a different playlist press play, and then go back to the playlist that I was already listening to to shuffle it again and I just feel like that’s too much work for me to want to shuffle a playlist that I’m listening to.
