[Android] Remove the Shuffle / Play Button

Hi, I tried out your new design, which I have mixed feelings about, but nevermind that. The most annoying thing I come over in the new Spotify (for iPhone by the way) is the dumb, big, overlapping, unnecessary shuffle play button that pops up everywhere. Is this a bug or is this on purpose? Could at least had add an option for it. Also, it doesn't look streamlined at all with the current design. Did it even occur that not everyone wants a shuffle play button?

At least make it an option.

When I select an album, I just want a "play" button.

Is there some marketing reason for encouraging users to play on shuffle? or is it just that only Luddites want to play the album in the order the artist intended?

I also do not get the inconsequences: Mac app and web player have a PLAY button, iOS app this darn SHUFFLE PLAY concept. Is it some kind of experiment?

Or is it only an older 'album focused' generation that's whining about this button and do 'track focused' kids just love it?

Why oh why would you ever want to shuffle play and album? Why.

Weak. One and a half year later and this is still a issue.

Hovering over everything else and eating into the already bloated UI.

Please make it optional.

The APP constantly keep jumping up to the top of the playlist.

Combine these two issues and you have some annoying problems that I wouldnt expect to find in a super popular app in 2015.

The solution was indead to stop the Spotify account and start using Tidal. I got my playing lists imported over. Right now I'm trying out the HiFi membership for free, and the sound is better. And best of all, no big, fat, anoying Shuffle Button on my phone.

As i have seen the wish to remove the shuffle-button is not so new (if i'm right last 4th march14) and nothing happened till now. why does it take more than a year to solve this problem? oh yes another thing, im not so used to write in english as my mother language is german. why ist ther no select-button for german to be capable to explain my ideas and unlikes in german?

I am unable to turn off shuffle play (verizon android Samsung Galaxy 6) and I'm beyond annoyed. All I can do is hit the shuffle button and it then shuffles another song on the play list. This was the case with my last phone (verizon android LG3). I thought it was a fluke but it appears it isn't. I've searched every possible option on the unfriendly UI and come up with zilch. Doesn't happen on my pc version. So close to switching over to Google Music but have thousands of songs in my play list. Anyone else having this issue or know a solution?

I've said it before, tweet about this and include @spotify and/or @spotifycares in the text. Maybe even add something like #removeshuffleplaybutton. They can ignore a forum thread like this one easily, but if everyone would start posting tweets about this, it will surely get ther attention.

Thanks. I don't use twitter. I found a customer contact form but am skeptical of a real person in Spotify customer service responding at all or with a solution.
