[Android] Remove the Shuffle / Play Button

Hi, I tried out your new design, which I have mixed feelings about, but nevermind that. The most annoying thing I come over in the new Spotify (for iPhone by the way) is the dumb, big, overlapping, unnecessary shuffle play button that pops up everywhere. Is this a bug or is this on purpose? Could at least had add an option for it. Also, it doesn't look streamlined at all with the current design. Did it even occur that not everyone wants a shuffle play button?

I hate the shuffle button. I just wish it wasn't there. It's aggressively branded and I keep hitting it by mistake. I then have to relearn how to work it. That button will lead to me investigating other streaming services. Surely we should be given the choice to remove it from our screens. Everytiime I see it I can hear the designer laughing at me powerless to do anything about it. I suspect some weird deal with artists or management over performing rights .............get it off my screen please!

I'm suprised people just don't quit subscription and start using something else. I did, I will have nothing to do with insane designers and a company that doesn't give a sh*t about their customers.

I just signed up for this service. Gonna quit if they don't get rid of it and go back to Apple Music, which is not any better, but works well with an iphone.

I wish Rdio was still around.

People have waited for Spotify to remove the button (or make it optional) a
very long time. Don't expect anything soon, they don't listen to their
customers.

I'm new to Spotify and surpriced to see that this annoying Shuffle button is not optional after so many complaints. I can easily be one of those just showing my face for Spotify for a limited time if they don't listen to their customers. In general apps should be more flexible in terms of turning on/off features to please the users. As a programmer I know that what is needed is some fairly simple coding.

The shuffle button can be disabled by subscribing to Spotify's premium service which allows you to choose whatever song to play first, access to the queue function, saving playlists and songs for offline play, and much more.

I just signed up as a Spotify Premium user and can take advantage of the
functions you listed.

But the big Shuffle button is not needed as I can turn on/off shuffling when
album is displayed.

That's a bit odd. I'm a Premium customer and the shuffle button is still
there (on my iphone)
