[Android] Remove the Shuffle / Play Button

Hi, I tried out your new design, which I have mixed feelings about, but nevermind that. The most annoying thing I come over in the new Spotify (for iPhone by the way) is the dumb, big, overlapping, unnecessary shuffle play button that pops up everywhere. Is this a bug or is this on purpose? Could at least had add an option for it. Also, it doesn't look streamlined at all with the current design. Did it even occur that not everyone wants a shuffle play button?

I have free Spotify on android. I cannot shuffle play my stations or playlists. A message pops up saying that it's a premium feature. Why? It works fine on my laptop.

Hi, just double checked my PC & Ipad & they work okay too - I can just
select any song from my playlist. I'm the same Android phone but a windows
tablet and can only use shuffle on both of them. Very strange.

Thanks! I uninstalled the app and now it works. This has happened before. Like they're forcing or tricking you to get Premium!

I restarted my phone after. Maybe that will help. Also shuffle button is ugly.

I cannot seem to bypass the shuffle button.  I don't want it.  Please give some assistance on how to delete or at least avoid it.

Just stop using Spotify and find something else. Worked for me.

If I want to listen to the album in the order the ARTIST decided to arrange it, WHY THE **bleep** does Spotify insist on Shuffle.   I DO NOT SEE ANYWHERE where I can turn off shuffle.  I am a Spotify Premium customer, paying for myself and 3 household members, but honestly, when I MUST LISTEN to an album shuffled, **bleep**?!?!?!?!?!?!

This is the sort of thing that makes me question my value to Spotify, as a recurring revenue source.

I've never commented on a message board in my life but I feel so strongly about this I had to. I'm trying to decide whether to change from TIDAL and this feature is so annoying I may not switch to Spotify as a result.

I switched back to Google play music probably over a year ago since I posted here. Been great ever since. I think apple music is better too. Looks better. And on Spotify for tablets (I pads, androids) u can choose what song to listen to.
