[Android] Remove the Shuffle / Play Button

Hi, I tried out your new design, which I have mixed feelings about, but nevermind that. The most annoying thing I come over in the new Spotify (for iPhone by the way) is the dumb, big, overlapping, unnecessary shuffle play button that pops up everywhere. Is this a bug or is this on purpose? Could at least had add an option for it. Also, it doesn't look streamlined at all with the current design. Did it even occur that not everyone wants a shuffle play button?

I agree with o.p the UI would be better without the enormous SHUFFLE button which obscures much of the playlist.

I cannot believe that Spotify classified this as 'not right now'.

This stupid shuffle button - in fact shuffle in any form - makes Spotify virtually unusable for me.

Is there a single person at Spotify that listens to Albums?  How do you play a complete album in the corrrect order using the iPad version of Spotify?  It is so completely annoying that the right music is there, visible, ready to listen to, but you Spotify people think you know what I want to listen to next!!

I have searched this issue here and on the wider web and it seems there may be ways to work around this completely stupid feature - but why should I work around something so simple?

Please, Spotify, understand that lots of your paying customers like to listen to Albums - more than individual tracks, more than playlists.  Can't you just make a simple change so we can find an album and click play?

The big shuffle button is the most anyong thing about the IOS app for me. Can't you make it at least configurable to be a regular "play this list/album from the top" function - for premium users, as I think free users can only shuffle playlists? If one of the things I get for being a premium users is the ability to listen to albums playlists in the intended order, then why do you only give me a big shuffle button?

They apparently don't give a **bleep** about what their users think, so they realy don't deserve any users. I've quit my premium subscription and moved on to Tidal.

Well, like I've mentioned earlier: I guess most Spotify users are single-track listeners and prefer to listen to music randomly in shuffle mode. They don't care about albums. We album listeners are probably a minority and Spotify is building their product for the masses.

At the moment I have to delete albums from 'my music' if I want to add a new album. Sigh…
