[Android] Remove the Shuffle / Play Button

Hi, I tried out your new design, which I have mixed feelings about, but nevermind that. The most annoying thing I come over in the new Spotify (for iPhone by the way) is the dumb, big, overlapping, unnecessary shuffle play button that pops up everywhere. Is this a bug or is this on purpose? Could at least had add an option for it. Also, it doesn't look streamlined at all with the current design. Did it even occur that not everyone wants a shuffle play button?

Just play the first song. The rest will autoplay in order

Indeed, on my Android this is an irritating big green SHUFFLE button, sitting in the way.

It should be better to replace it by a functional 'usefull' bar like you have on the webbrower (symbols: loop, play previous track, pauze/play, play next track, shuffle).

Now everytime you want to skip songs you have to go to a next screen, most unefficient, as on the main screen you only have an annoying big SHUFFLE button and NO other control functions.

Look how TIDAL, Deezer an probably most other music streaming app's do it.

There should be 2 buttons, a 'shuffle play' and a 'play' button, or just a 'play' button.

This design issue is terrible. It makes me wonder if Spotify gives a **bleep** about UX. There's a 'shuffle play'  buttton, but no 'play' button. really!

Dear Briancarrol,

Think the Android smartphone/iPhone product wasn't tested thoroughly and am afraid status 'Not right now' will stay that way, unless accidently one of the (new) management/controllers will notice themselves using a smartphone.

But you suggested to make 2 buttons, why not replace the big green useless Shuffle button by a useful bar, like you have on their webbrowser with the symbols: loop, play previous track, pauze/play, play next track, shuffle, than you have even more functions on your playlist screen what currently doesn't have any controll buttons, right ?

Please take the shuffle button away. I never shuffle and the button is WAY 2 LARGE..- hide it somewhere....

I like having a shuffle option! Don't remove it, just have a PLAY and Shuffle choice where the existing shuffle button lives.

Please get rid of "Shuffle play" button on Android and replace it with the "Play" button as on the Desktop app.   The fact you can't play a wholse album or playlist in order on mobile is ludicrous.

Oh my gods... Please listen to your customers and make this giant button go away! Do not want shuffle play!
