[Android] Remove the Shuffle / Play Button

Hi, I tried out your new design, which I have mixed feelings about, but nevermind that. The most annoying thing I come over in the new Spotify (for iPhone by the way) is the dumb, big, overlapping, unnecessary shuffle play button that pops up everywhere. Is this a bug or is this on purpose? Could at least had add an option for it. Also, it doesn't look streamlined at all with the current design. Did it even occur that not everyone wants a shuffle play button?

I've said this before and I still believe it.  Changing it to a "Play" button would make the person  who decided "Shuffle" was the best option look like he or she didn't have a clue about UI.   And that person is probably still in charge so they won't change it.    The irony is that Playlists have a "Play" button and no option to shuffle!  I'd much rather shuffle a playlist, so that I don't have to listen to the same songs at the beginning each time..   Some **bleep** is in charge of this, and they need to get over themselves and move on.

My problem with this button is it is enormous. Meanwhile, I still have
trouble finding some functions in the app even after months of use. A
smaller shuffle play button off to the side would be okay with me. This
button is such a monster that we might as well call the whole app "Shuffle
Play."

It seems that the shuffle play button on mobile is an intentional inconvenience designed to get people to signup for spotify premium. Now that amazon music is free with prime, I have gone back to listening to music in album format on mobile. When on desktop, spotify is fine, but on mobile, this functionality is too much for me personally. Though, spotify is super strong in the playlist side of things, so that's something that makes me sad that I can't listen on mobile.

We need a "PLAY" button AND a "Shuffle" button...right next to each other!

Amen. Long live ordered playlists. forced shuffle is bad.

You don't have to shuffle. Just play the first song in the list. The next
will follow, in order, as long as you've got the settings set to play the
next one.

I shouldn't have to explain this though - the app design should make it
obvious.

This only works if you've not got an existing queue, otherwise it only
plays the first song and adds the rest to the end of the queue. It should
just be a big play button, and not a shuffle one. Such a silly design. It
must be political since it'd only take 2 mins to change it.

Even if they kept the button, it could be smaller and less flashy. It's in
the way, all the time.
