everynoise.com is an invaluable exploration of Spotify genres, and the only place to see complete Friday releases with genre cross-references. Without it, much new music goes unheard.

The Spotify employee, glenn mcdonald, who maintained this was let go in recent round of layoffs.

Everynoise is no longer getting data feeds (beyond basic api) and New Releases may not happen.

Please make everynoise functions supported. I would prioritize New Releases.

It certainly sounds like from other comments on the support threads that the repercussions of this decision are seeping through into various parts of Spotify's framework. Spotify is now a much poorer app without Glenn's algorithms and everynoise... Because of their absence Spotify continuously regurgitates the same songs and music with no chance of discovery of new sounds. Spotify has become and echo chamber very similar to every other modern social media platform out there.

Everynoisy is probably the main reason I keep my subscription, and it is the accurate and true way to discover new music. Simple as that.

Stop the **bleep**, stop the greed Spotify. It's like screaming into a void for execs smh. 2024 was the worst year for Spotify, kicked off by firing a literal genre engineer.

Or just burying your heads in the sand because some senior managers have told you to push the “AI algorithms” that clearly can and is influenced by Spotify to push/promote certain artists and tracks above others this removing any organicness and making results restrictive and biased,
