Current Device Sound Choice

When you go into the 'Current device' option (speakers) on my iPhone it gives me a list of options to choose which device I want to choose to playback the music. The menu itself is very easy to use however the second you choose an option it immediately kicks you out of this menu. the problem with this is that this menu also the only place (in the app) where you can adjust the music volume for that chosen device. So my suggestion would be to allow users to remain on this page and then choose to go back to their music selections giving them the time to adjust the volume of the music first. This would prevent users from having to re-click the speaker icon to adjust the volume. I realise there are other options (using the side buttons on the iphone or pulling up the volume via widgets) but I really would like to not have to go outside of the app to make these adjustments and having to re-click into the speakers to then adjust the volume on the device I just set is a little annoying.
