[Desktop][Other] Option to maximize album cover in fullscreen

I suspect this was an oversight in the latest update, but the album cover is now tiny in full-screen mode, making room for the background on the artist's profile instead. There seems to be no way to maximize the album cover, which I'd rather be looking at. I'd like that option back!

6 months into this  request and who knows how many updates later, I'm embarrassed for Spotify's inability to respond to this request makes them appear as if they really don't care, are incompetent or both.

What's the point of having a forum like this if it's simply ignored, Spotify should realize that it's customers are really only trying to improve their product and give the ARTIST & listeners the respect they deserve.

I agree with the latest comments here. It is extremely unprofessional of Spotify to not care about their users' wishes for better streaming experience. The live idea whatever update was in August, now it's October and what? Nothing. You guys need to fix these issues (low quality album cover arts for every album and single release that exists on Spotify + not being able to maximize the full cover art in full HQ full screen mode) and stop looking like you don't give a F. Please and thank you. I am paying for a family plan, I even used to pay for 3 Premium accounts for myself before so you have my money every month, because I love Spotify that much, and for many reasons. But I don't love this unprofessional behaviour and unwilligness to fix these issues. It seems like you don't care about us after all. Also what happened to Hi-Fi streaming? That should have happened this year, right? I guess that got delayed. Wow. Ok my rant is over. Have a great day everyone. Hopefully Spotify will fix these annoying issues and oversights asap!

I can not understand why Spotify has to think about it. Today's world is about HD content EVERYWHERE, so why should we (customers) be happy with a 200px artwork on a 3000px screen? 

Spotify: we want the best resolution, full screen! The aim must be like holding a real vinyl in your hands.

This is a feature that was requested by the community, got over 1000 votes, and implemented some years back. And then they just remove it... This "new" full screen view on desktop is just the artist image full screen, as all the text and album art disappears after ~3 seconds. Really useless. At least let us look at a large album cover!

Right on, just like holding the album jacket in your hands, that would be
amazing Spotify.

This is an incredible flaw in Spotify. It's ridiculous - sometimes I search for an album to listen on Spotify, and then I turn it on Tidal, because there you can open the cover art in full size, full screen, and they are in very high resolution, so it's a pleasure to look at them.

How can you suck so much, Spotify? If I didn't have a family subscription I would have cancelled ages ago. Every update is worse and worse UI, with less and less usability.
