[Mobile] Option to customize Your Daily Drive

Just got a playlist called "Your Daily Drive". So far, it's great because it mixes in news-like podcast snippets inbetween suggested songs.

However, it'd be great to mark a podcast as 'do not play again' or 'dislike' so it doesn't show up or similar podcasts don't appear. 

It would also like to love/like songs that appear, as well as the ability to complete skip a podcast if its something I'm less interested in. Podcast runs similar to normal podcast, but I feel that this is a different experience (and a catered one), we should have more freedom to skip/like/love/dislike to make this experience improve over time.

How is this not fixed yet? It's a simple request: Let us choose the news/podcasts. I'm assuming it's because the developers and Spotify care more about shoving their horrible political leanings in people's faces rather than having a good product. Let me pick my own podcasts, simple as. I don't even care that it's the same songs in a different order every day. I just want to not have to listen to extremely politically biased nonsense, and should I choose too, it should be far in the opposite direction of the stuff they force on you.

Spotify changed the podcasts on my daily drive. I hate the new podcasts. Who asked me?

Just seeing this (very old thread) now. My use case is that I want the podcast portion to be shorter 10-20 minute "update" podcasts instead of the 30-60 minute "deep dive" type podcasts. But of course, just being able to pick the podcasts would be the easiest.

The age of this idea request is concerning. I'm tired of my Daily Drive playing podcasts that I do not want to listen to. But because a few seconds play before I click the next button, Spotify seems to think I listened to it which is not at all the case. I seriously need a "skip podcast" option in addition to a "never play podcast again" AND a block feature.

I commented back in February of 2020 that I'd like to see this made a feature since it's really a bug.  It's September of 2024 and people are still complaining, Spotify.  

I've given up on Daily Drive and moved to just using my own playlists.  I've abandoned any podcasts within Spotify even ones I might like because I'm just tired of how Spotify tries to push me towards news, sports and other things I don't want any part of while I'm driving.

I'm a premium user.  I should be able to curate my own content.  Four years Spotify.  You should ask yourself how many other users of the Daily Drive said "forget it" and also dumped your podcasts/audiobook features because you couldn't implement a simple request.

And still so-called "Premium" users are unable to manage Podcasts or the Daily Drive at all. Now Spotify is listing podcasts I have no interest in as "Your Shows". How? I don't listen to them or follow them, and actively skip them when they appear on Daily Drive because I'm not interested. No option to select themes for Daily Drive to get away from Sport, Political, Whatever; and no option to block unwanted podcasts.

I said it before, and I'll say it again. If I'm not interested, I'M NOT INTERESTED.

Spotify, if you're not capable of developing your own product, at least have the decency to tell your customers that this is as good as it's gonna get.
