[Music] ASIO Output Support

Please can you add support for an ASIO audio output device?

As a owner of a separate headphone DAC + Amp, I get much better quality music when I'm using the bit-perfect ASIO output rather than DirectSound, which changes the audio bitstream before it reaches the DAC. ASIO output would be a great compliment to the Spotify high-quality streaming.

Thanks!

No WASAPI/ASIO support and not able to select specific output device - deal breakers for me.

Sorry, I will not buy the Premium after trial.

Me neither, won't be buying premium anymore until spotify gets WASAPI, and offline playlist oppurtunity to save to SD (smartphone)

WASAPI/ASIO needed here.

You most of all should pursuing better audio experience for everybody educating the users to use better audio options.

Another one for ASIO support, please. This would be fantastic to have.

WASAPI also!!

I cancelled my premium due to lack of WASAPI/ASIO support. Without WASAPI/ASIO, the premium account means nothing! Please consider to support it.

Disappointing, I've been using Spotify for years, I'm sitting here with a Chord DAC and Amp and Spotify doesn't even suppor ASIO - crazy.  I'm now moving to qobuz, just installed it and already hearing the same tracks sound much better than through Spotify.  When will they ever realise??

This should be a feature, I can do more audio (I.E. Balance Control) with Winamp that does this flawlessly. Come on Spotify

Here is a solution for MACs.   Get AirFoil.  Set Airfoil Audio Source to System Audio.  In MAC preferences, set audio to your DAC.  I am outputing my MacAir Book to a NAD 1050 DAC connected by USB, and the DAC is outputting into my NAD AMP.  I'm very pleased with the sound.  My DAC is reading an input of 96 Khz, which is the max output of the USB port.

I can also get Spotify through my Roku player or BluRay player, which is connected by HDMI to my amp.  So I think that this may even be better than using my external DAC?

One more for this please add asio support. I'm building an Htpc and plan to use spotify today with connect. I don't want a worst quality than the one I get today from the integrated app I my receiver. Spotify quality in marantz receiver is good but the gui is ugly and not handy at all.
