[Music] ASIO Output Support

Please can you add support for an ASIO audio output device?

As a owner of a separate headphone DAC + Amp, I get much better quality music when I'm using the bit-perfect ASIO output rather than DirectSound, which changes the audio bitstream before it reaches the DAC. ASIO output would be a great compliment to the Spotify high-quality streaming.

Please add WASAPI support.... Music streamed through the spotify windows client sounds terrible. If I use KODI and the spotimc plugin it sounds fantastic.

I cannot understand why you would not implement this?

You have competition like Tidal who offer "lossless" music streaming. The Windows Tidal client allows you to use WASAPI or ASIO. Tidal as a result sounds awesome and its not because the format is lossless. Spotify sounds just as good but only when using the spotimc plugin in kodi...

Someone comparing the two services could easily think that Spotify is poor compared to Tidal... It does not need to be this way. How hard can it be to add an option to use WASAPI/ASIO instead of direct sound?

I tried fidelfy and the sound quality of asio is obvious on my Asus Xonar stx. But tha UI is a pain and almost unsuable on high dpi that I use on my lcd tv. Why don't spoitify just purchase the code of fidelfy and apply in spotify?

Spotify has to support bitstreaming! Wasabi / Asio! Tidal is very much better at this point. Use Fidelify for USB DAC until now. Hope to wait no more longer! Asio Update would be very appreciated from many people!

Please add Asio support.

It should be fairly simple to select an output audio engine.

Hide it in advanced settings if need be.
I play along with other asio systems to practice keyboards/synths using vst instruments.
They always sound better through asio, but i can't use spotify at the same time.
So annoying.
