RETURN THE LIKE BUTTON

I don't care if this has been submitted a hundred times over, you Spotify devs clearly need to hear it. You should *not* have to go through the effort of finding the "liked songs" playlist, just to add a song to Liked, when you have a ton of playlists. Playlists don't even sort like they used to, it seems almost random which playlists show first despite which ones I interacted with last - but that's not the issue here; it's just yet another downside of the problem at hand.

Please. Please. Please.

Bring back the **bleep** 'liked'/heart button on songs and albums. Having to add liked songs to my liked playlist manually just leads to me adding it to different playlists because it's so **bleep** tedious in the first place. I've been adding songs to playlists and then using the PC version to mass-add songs to Liked because you make it so inconvenient on mobile. This isn't user-friendly in the slightest.

Just, why? Why can't you just bring back the little heart? I thought the point of liked songs was to add songs then and there; not to have to stop in the street to add a song to a playlist because it now takes several seconds to do so. I've been paying for Premium since 2009, and now I'm wondering if you're worth the effort. Fire whoever told you it was a good idea to remove the Liked button, seriously. Fire yourselves for listening, too.

If Spotify's overpaid dartboard-strategy UX/UI department is going to make changes that fundamentally change how we have used the app for years, I'd at least want to be able to vote on it.

Great idea, thank you for your post!

Bring back the heart!

We need this to be reverted or at least make an option for we choose between the old and the new experience

This was definitely the worst update in years

I have lots of playlists with songs I like and songs I don't but would like to listen to more, for example. Before that I was able at a glance to know if it was a liked song... Not anymore! For EACH SONG I now need to click on the plus, which is always green as we're in one of my playlists! Then I can see if it's liked or not, and weight my interest in the song. What the **bleep**. If you're to change a basic feature, at least either give some other way to see it (another indicator on the song?) or even better an option to choose from...

I am incredibly frustrated that I can't see which songs I liked in my own playlists. I don't want to go to the Liked Songs-list everytime I want to add my favorite songs to the queue. Bring back the heart!!!

The new interface has basically 2 problems:

1) Adding a song to mi like list is now slowlier as it takes more step

2) When I browse a list, I can't easily see which songs I like. I have to chech one by one.

For me, the most problematic is the second. The heart button was not only a button. It was an icon. It gave me useful information. With the new interface I lost that.

Good job on completely removing the usefulness of liking songs. Might be time to finally switch platforms.

This is seriously the worst change in user experience ever. I have quite a lot of (different) playlists and I use these to categorize different genres apart from tracks that I really like which can be of different genres. This change confuses me all the time; did I like this track already, did I save it to one of my playlists? There no way to know for sure other than opening the list and search for the track.

You can keep the plus if you want (but then please make it possible to hide it), but please bring back the heart and the way it used to work; just simply toggling the like status of a track.

Ok, what are you doing here?!

It seems you've removed the only way to determine what songs within a list are songs you actually rate as "a proper tune!".

I add songs to lists all the time, as part of a filtering system (1st listen, 2nd listen, 3rd listen, then categorize/filter), but they are not all for "Me". The 💗 icon was a way to differentiate between songs in a list; the songs I might like (it was in the list) and songs that I love (I marked it as such).

It was already an under-serviced feature, there are "bangers", and there are "absolute bangers" and then there are "mind-melting bangers".... but I worked with the one heart system and it worked, despite being a poor implementation. Now you've removed even that, and it's just liked songs (because I've added to a list at some point?!) ... What have you done here?! This is absurdity!!!

Agree. I like the option of being able to add to multiple playlists, but I want to be able to see what songs in a suggested playlist are already in my library without having to click on each individual song. Very frustrating!
