Experiencing delay with Spotify when streaming to multiple Airplay 2 devices. Works with Apple Music

Spotify still does not support AirPlay 2. I can't use my cross-home audio system with Spotify because of this. I've been a long-time subscriber to Spotify (8+ years), and I've always touted it as the superior product. However, I may be switching to Apple Music because of this.

Spotify, please fix this. I don't want to switch, but it's been over a year & still no AirPlay 2 support.

Perhaps we can get 'The Verge', or other online medium to write an article about it again. That at least triggered an response from Spotify last time 😞

Very recently my Spotify hasn't even played from my HomePods. I've been subscribing to both Apple Music and Spotify for a while now, but I find myself using Apple Music more and more do to Spotify's inability to adopt AirPlay2.

The only thing keeping me using Spotify at all are some playlists...

How hard can this be?!

1 1/2years after promising it…..nothing happens. Spotify get **bleep** together and be the nice app you were some years ago.

Hi,

bit confused. I have been using Apple Music for forever and am now on a 3 month free trial as the partner or family plan are cheaper then Apple Music. 
Am I right in thinking I cannot airplay to two devices at the same time? 
bit of a show stopper for me…

You can airplay to 2 devices.
