[iOS][Discover] Restore Touch Preview on iOS App

Touch preview removal on last iOS vers. update looks like it hasn't been a great idea. You are on time to restore it, one of the best Spotify features.

Thanks for coming to the Community, and adding your vote to this idea!

 

This feature was originally removed from the app due to low engagement. There was a statement at the time which you can check out at https://community.spotify.com/t5/iOS-iPhone-iPad/Touch-Preview-on-iOS-removal/td-p/1857905.

 

We're keeping this idea as 'Not Right Now', as it's not something we have any immediate plans to add back onto the app.

 

If we do have any new info to share we'll check back in here with a new status.

Is this the way you handle communities feedback?! I can't believe that it is true!

You just don't give a f**k on about hundreds of user wishes! Most of them are paying members!

I saw NOBODY who was happy with your decision to remove the touch preview feature.

 

If you want the best experience on each platform, why you deleted the very best feature on one platform instead of implementing it on the other platforms???

Now I don't want to use the app anymore, because handling with it became completely awful! That's why I intend to cancel premium and delete it from all my devices!

 

Please listen to your customers and reimplement touch preview! Otherwise you will lose a lot of them! It's in your hand.

Engagement was low probably because people didn't know about this amazing feature. I discovered it by accident and then could not stop using it. Please bring it back!

I would like to use preview with 3d touch. I love this function and I'm disapointed with this desicion

The "not right now" status is disappointing. This idea has over 1,000+ votes in a short time. Very few ideas have gotten this many votes in such a short time. That means people really care about the feature and that Spotify underestimated how many people actually use this feature.

 Upgraded to iOS 11 and went to Spotify after not using it for a for awhile (youtube Red) and tried skimming through my playlist to find this feature removed.  I thought it might be bug with iOS 11 at first, but nope.  Very dissapointing.
