[iOS] Implement Native HomePod Support

Just this week at WWDC (June 22, 2020), Apple announced support for third party music services on the HomePod.  I'm requesting that Spotify implement native support for the HomePod such that one or even multiple HomePods will appear in the "Connect to a device" menu on any Apple device WITHOUT having to connect through Airplay.  This will also allow users to ask Siri to play songs from Spotify on their HomePod(s). 

Apple is opening up the HomePod, and I know there are many other HomePod users that would love to have native Spotify support on their speaker.

If you sort by top in the "good suggestion" category... we're the top one, next in line... is the podcast subtitles... really?  That's a thing people want?!  I feel like Spotify is having their employees vote on ideas now... such a strange company. 

To me the silence, after all the fanfare about how Apple wouldn't allow them in, is super telling... they're either working on something big (probably not) or they're truly **bleep** off with Apple and are letting this pissing contest go until they can go to trial to show how bad Apple is.  I hope if it's the latter this thread and other ideas get brought up in trial.

Spotify, it would appear, is run by a bunch of children.

Yup, just comparing votes of the ideas under the "Good Suggestion" section, I can tell how much care Spotify gives to its own customers. And yet, this idea has just got moved into the "Good Suggestion" level, and still not looking like one of the top ideas. This does explain a lot that customer satisfaction isn't really a priority in Spotify's "agenda". I just can't believe how we could not even listen to our music with the Apple HomePod we have at home, being locked in longer than a year during the pandemic, and even incorrectly believing that this was Apple's fault, because how Spotify influenced our opinion with some non-sense reasoning. I will not forget this, and will definitely begin looking into other platforms from today on, also doing all I can to spread the word to the others around me.

After 6 years DOWNLOADS on Apple Watch!!! So we just wait 6 years and we will have HomePod support!!! It's close guys!

I guess that's a good sign, at least I hope.  They do mention Siri support so...

Also saw an article yesterday that Spotify is getting into the selling of audiobooks game.  Maybe once they can FULLY compete with all of Apple's services they'll open up homepod support...

Maybe the Homepod Mini trend might help convince Spotify there is a market, but it's not cheap to support something new as a company, and I wonder how big the homepod market in general is (The Homepod never had a global launch as the iPhone, and one still can't buy it in Scandinavia, neither the mini's).

But regardless, I've always seen Spotify someone who sets the trends in the audio streaming market with new features and technologies, so I still think they should support big brands like Apple's homepod and others, and hopefully we'll a homepod "spotify connect" like service.

Sadly I don't have high hopes, since Spotify has killed off "spotify connect" as a service for other brands, for example B&O Beoplay A9 smart speakers. The early version had Spotify connect built in, but later ones the feature was removed....

What about a surprise at WWDC like Amazon Music last year? Fully switched to Apple Music but would come back if Homepods would be integrated. If Apple Music changes the queue to something that is working I am staying with them...

Please, please integrate Spotify with Homepod. It would really change how we change music and integrate the Apple ecosystem.
